Training
Prior to registering for training, an employee who is interested in participating in the Telework program must first review the list of telework conditions to determine if conditions are conducive to participation and share the results with his/her supervisor. Once the supervisor has agreed the employee is a viable candidate for telework, the employee can register for training.
The telework candidate must register for the computer-based training (CBT) course Telework Training: TRP1000, in the state’s CBT portal (accessible via the TraCorp portal). If the supervisor has not already completed the course, he/she must also register. Prior to beginning the CBT course, the employee must print a copy of the Telework Training Guide & Agreement (revised in 2019).
Upon completion of the TRP1000 course, the supervisor and employee will complete the telework agreement, incorporating any agency-specific policies and procedures. The agency’s human resources department can provide any relevant agency-specific telework policies.
Telework agreements must be renewed annually.
